History of New Life Professional Finishes, LLC

The owner, Mark D. Loveless, grew up in a family of builders, craftsman and entrepreneurs. After graduating from high school in 1991, Mark took and received his builder’s license. In 1991 he also went in business with his dad and grandfather. At the time we were building 15-18 homes a year, Mark helped to grow that company to 35-42 homes a year.

In 1996 Mark started Loveless Construction. At Loveless Construction we remodeled residential homes. In the later part of 1996 a Land/Developer Builder recruited Mark D. Loveless to run the building program for him, during which time Mark did a parade of homes house in upper Michigan and several other homes for customers. Mark D. Loveless continued with Developer until New Life Professional Finishes, LLC was formed in the later part of 1997.

New Life Professional Finishes, LLC started with 7 Bill Knapps’ restaurants, an Arby’s, worked on a hotel in Battle Creek and among many other remodeling projects began to be a leader in finish carpentry and high-end remodeling.

In 2002 New Life Professional Finishes, LLC started to specialize more in higher-end kitchen and bath remodels in which we completed 57 kitchen remodels and many other remodeling projects. Currently New Life Professional Finishes, LLC contracts with some of the largest kitchen distributors in Michigan, and is working on many other large and small remodel projects. New Life Professional Finishes, LLC has 9 full-time and 2 part-time employees. In 2003 we continue to work on a kitchen or bath per week, with other projects such as CVS Pharmacies, Fire Mountain Grills, among many other projects. The company is on its way to being the premier remodeling company in Western Michigan.

We are highly trained finish craftsmen. New Life Professional Finishes, LLC can control the finished project by doing most finish trades in-house. These trades would include drywall, paint, trim, cabinets, custom millwork, laminating, countertop, ceramic tile, wood floors, and all other remodeling. On bigger remodeling projects New Life Professional Finishes, LLC works together very closely with other trades such as framers, roofers, electricians, plumbers, mechanical, and other specialty tradesman to complete the project within the budget, time frame, and expectation of quality made from the customer. New Life Professional Finishes, LLC understands that there may be setbacks in the remodeling process. We understand how important a customer home is. Therefore, we make great strides to resolve any issue that may come to light during the project.
