• How long has the company been doing business?
• Receive a list of references to contact
• Ask references how long have they been doing business with company
• What don’t they like about that particular Contractor
• If you were to do the project again, what could the Contractor do to improve the project
• Find out what suppliers the Contractor uses and see if accounts are current
• Ask Contractor how he intends to complete project in your home without interfering with your life
